This is the tombstone of John William Gearheart, born 11 Dec 1794 in Botetourt, VA and died 16 Aug 1850 in Miami County, Ohio. He was my 5 times great grandfather. This was one of the older and more interesting tombstones I could find. Enjoy!

Where is Miami County did he live? My husband had quite a few relatives that lived in Miami County. It's not too far from where we are.
Hi Lori! He lived in Elizabeth Township, I believe. I know that's where his son, John Nelson Gearhart lived.
