Ancestral Homes Series: Gabriel Blaser - Detroit, MI

Yesterday, I used Google Maps, reverse address search on White Pages, and Zillow to see if the home of Gabriel and Vera Blaser still stood, on Laura Street in Detroit. Check out the home in the early 1920s, and today on Google Maps street view.

The odd placement of the windows and glass door gave it away as the right house. In my mother in law's childhood days, her grandparent's home had acquired a brick columned porch that is no longer there.

I found it very interesting following this home through it's history and the many changes it underwent over time.
